COFFEE THAT GIVES BACK

COFFEE THAT GIVES BACK

Black Lion Organic Coffee is committed to giving back to the communities that provide the coffee we drink. For every bag of coffee, we sell. Black Lion Organic Coffee gives a percentage to support women in coffee through women’s cooperatives, capacity building, and empowering women in coffee to establish their businesses through microfinancing and women-only washing stations and cooperatives. You can learn more about what we are doing to impact women in coffee.

Women provide the bulk of low-paid labor in the coffee sector, yet men market the coffee, run the cooperatives, and control the majority of the profits. Women typically earn 38% less than men, do not have the same opportunities, and have limited access to resources.

Black Lion is a direct supplier of the world’s finest premium coffee, controlling production from the farm to cup, and giving back to the communities that supply our coffee.

1/1 Every cup of Black Lion Organic Coffee directly benefits women in coffee and the communities in which they live.
